Jill's CD Update

I'm truly reveling in the oasis of the final stages of my CD project. (and the non-linear process of it all!) As the recording and mixing nears an end, the next exciting phase begins - designing the booklet and planning the CD release celebration.
Stay tuned for more details, but for now I can tell you the process will include beautiful artwork from some of my amazingly talented, female artist friends and will support one of my very favorite philanthropic organizations - Women for Women International. To learn more about how this great charitable organization helps women around the globe better their lives and the lives of their families click the link above, or watch The Oprah Show this Thursday, Oct.1, 2009! (just found out today that WfW would be featured! Love that serendipity!

It's a Big time of year here in Dallas...Big Ferris Wheel, Big Tex, Big Fried Foods, Big Crowds...the State Fair of Texas seems like a month long homage to all things BIG! Being a bit contrary by nature, this seemed like the ideal month to focus on small steps and small questions. (see teleclass info. below) Even so, you'll likely find me among the huge throngs roaming the fairgrounds. I'll be the one taking very small bites of my corny dog along the way! And really, can you get more creative with grease and lard than fried butter? Yikes!

An evening to let your hair down (or put it up in spongy rollers) and dive into some creative fun. This will be an excellent opportunity for lighthearted, yet focused creative time. Bring a project you've been putting off, but would love to play with. Or come empty handed and brainstorm your next personal oasis project. Come as you are - leave as you want to be! Appropriate pajama party snacks and drinks will be served.
