Bryan Wakeland (Polyphonic Spree, Tripping Daisy & his great solo stuff) laid down some nice drum parts for my CD this summer. I'm hoping to finish up and announce a CD release date in the near future!

Over the past few years, I've been happily creating a Mid-Life Oasis™ for myself. Joyfully side-stepping the mid-life crisis that gets so much press, I've learned how to create the time and space in my life for real personal fulillment and creative satisfaction. For me that's writing and recording songs, playing gigs, writing articles and blogging, and providing teleclasses, workshops, retreats and one-on-one coaching for people who want to experience the same kind of personal transformation that I have. Jill's Top Five Creative Excuses for Not Sending an August Creative Oasis Pages...

 1. She was abducted by Rod Stewart look-alikes and forced to drink champagne with them all month.
2. She had so much fun creating and writing her new blog (Mid-Life Oasis™) that it just slipped her mind until right this minute.
3. She ran her first 5K ever at 10,000 feet elevation in Breckenridge, Co. and then felt strangely entitled to take the rest of the month off.
4. While watching the Perseid Meteorite Shower in Breck, some wierd sort of a time-space-continuum thingy happened and she looked up and it was September! (It's complicated - you might not understand.)
5. This chipmunk ate it.
