What’s new
I hope you are all enjoying the summer and are having the opportunity to enjoy your Chevy vehicles whether classic or modern.
June marked an amazing month for Chevrolet. They announced the official pricing on the new Volt. While many will argue the price is too high and others that its being subsidized by our tax dollars, its hard not to make note of the technology advancements in the Chevrolet product lines. They obviously need to reduce the price from $41,000 to make it more accessible to American families, but economies of scale will drive the cost down over time.
On one hand Chevrolet is offering the Volt and on the other have introduced 3 Corvette models as well as 2 Camaro models of which I am seeing more and more on the roads. With the Malibu filling in the middle Chevy is back kicking butt again.

The New Chevy
Topic: Volt to cost $41,000
General Motors has begun taking orders for the long-awaited Chevrolet Volt, pricing the plug-in hybrid car at $41,000. A federal tax credit can reduce the net cost of the Volt to $33,500, and a 36-month lease will be available for $350 a month with $2,500 due at the signing. GM plans to build just 10,000 Volts from November through the end of 2011.

Topic: HUSBAND DOWN
A husband and wife are shopping in their local Wal-Mart. The husband picks up a case of Budweiser and puts it in their cart. 'What do you think you're doing?' asks the wife.
'They're on sale, only $10 for 24 cans he replies. 'Put them back, we can't afford them demands the wife, and so they carry on shopping.
