What’s new

It's time for our fifth monthly newsletter recapping last month on the site.

In April we broke the 10 year record for the most people on the site at once. A staggering 1645. I think you'll agree that's an amazing amount of folks to be reading and posting at the same time.

We also added a new program where members can win $100 in product from one of our major sponsors. Check out this link for more info.

Cutlass442 was the fourth $100 raffle winner. Congratulations Ralph and thanks for helping by joining as a Supporting Member.

The "Supporting Sponsor Section"

It takes a great deal of financial support to run a program as large as ChevyTalk. We have been blessed with a great group of sponsors, all of which are leading edge in their specific area. These SPONSORS donate extra to enable you to interact directly with these vendors allowing you to ask both pre and post sales support questions. You can also interact with other ChevyTalk members who have purchased and used the products you are considering purchasing. I think its one of the best features of the site. Check out the link below to see all of our great Supporting Sponsors forums.

Member question of the month

by CT member "a lot of people"

"How can I post a picture"

Question: This question comes in many flavors but always centers around a member having issues trying to ask a question by posting a photo.

Answered by Tony: It all depends "

There are more than a few ways to post a photo. It always a good idea to ask for help in the Member Support Forum. This way our moderators can see which system you are using and give you a very specific solution. You can also ask any site related question here as well. How about this one

Topic: A chance to do a good deed!

A bunch of local ChevyTalk Members got together to help another member who fell on some bad luck recently.

It's a story that gets repeated a lot on the site. Members who give their time to help others, many times ever strangers across the country and even the globe.

No matter what you read, there is still plenty of good in this world of ours. Read a little about this particular incident.

See the thread.

Joke of the month

Topic: "The Irish Millionaire"

Mick, from Dublin ,appeared on 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' and towards the end of the program had already won 500,000 pounds.

"You've done very well so far," said Chris Tarrant, the show's presenter, "but for a million pounds you've only got one life-line left to phone a friend. Everything is riding on this question.....will you go for it?"

"Sure," said Mick. "I'll have a go!"

"Which of the following birds does NOT build its own nest?

The rest of the joke can be found here.

Please look for future newsletters coming your way covering more site news.

Here's to Good Times, Tony
