COME RAIN OR SHINE - OR SNOW OR HIGH WINDS - YOU MUST VOTE FOR THE LEVY ON ELECTION DAY
No excuses! We all must make certain to get to the polls on Tuesday, November 8th to vote YES for the Mental Health Levy, Issue 11 (Butler County residents). Remember, it's a renewal and will not raise taxes. If you'd like to help by volunteering to represent the Mental Health Board outside the polls (and get a free tee shirt in the process), please contact Amber Reckner at [email protected] or 860-8393.
Read more about the people behind the levy in an editorial submitted to the Cincinnati Enquirer by Kathleen Stevens by clicking here.

Pat Irwin, RN, a nurse psychotherapist, will speak about what to do when the holidays bring about feelings of sadness, anxiety and loss at our next educational meeting. Our educational meetings are held the third Thursday of every month (except June and December) at our Boymel Road office beginning at 7:00 PM.

BOOK CLUB GOES VIRTUAL
Our book club is now going to be offered online in the hopes that more people will be able to participate. If you planned to attend the November book club meeting, please plan to come to our Awards Dinner instead. Please check the web site for details.
Our November book is: Here's the Deal: Don't Touch Me! by Howie Mandel who discusses life with OCD. We can't be entirely virtual! On December 8th at 7:00 PM the book club will be showing the movie "Awakenings" at our Boymel Drive office - admission, popcorn and other fare high in fat, starch and sugar, are free. Everyone is welcome. More movies to come; check our web site for updates.
