Greetings!
You spoke and we listened! First
we developed our Digital Ball Banking unit to allow one person to safely perform
Safe Curve Speed Studies. And now with Federal
and State MUTCD recommending a variety of angles for setting safe curve
speed, we've combined several options, and more, into one industry leading
RDS7-BB digital ball bank indictor - making it easier to adjust for your specific regulations.

RDS7-BB Digital Ball Bank Indicator Gets a Much Needed Upgrade!
|
B ased on nationwide feedback from traffic and DOT engineers Rieker is introducing the latest version of the industry leading RDS7-BB ball bank indicator. The -09 version allows the
operator to switch between viewing the angle in Degrees or Percent Grade. It
also provides for the hard wiring of input power (8-30VDC non-regulated via the
DSUB connector) for vehicles without cigarette lighter adaptor plug receptacles
or for those who want a more permanent wiring solution.
But the key feature - now standard - is the ability to adjust the ±10º trip angle setting to the appropriate angle as indicated in your State's adopted MUTCD (for setting safe curve speed based on road type and MPH).
Features and Benefits Quick List:
-
Adjustable
LED (visual) and Buzzer (audible) trip angle settings (in 1º steps) > to assist with complying with your
State's MUTCD code for ball banking curves
- Ability
to turn the buzzer on or off > allows for silent running
mode
- 2
power supply options > adaptability in newer vehicles or installation
requirements
- Ability

-
LCD
Display Resolution 0.01º
-
RS232
output via serial port connector (cable supplied) > allows operator to record
