Main Street Bike Night
One of Martinsburg's most popular events - Bike Night - is coming to town tomorrow! Sponsored by the WV Blue Knights Chapter V and Main Street Martinsburg, motorcycle enthusiasts will ride into town to enjoy the local restaurants, shops, and live music from Revolution and Crossbonz.
Saturday, August 18
Registration from 1 to 4 pm at Berkeley Plaza
Ride begins at 4 pm with downtown arrival at 5.
Entertainment downtown from 5 to 11 pm.

| US Travel & Tourism on Pace for Record-Setting Year
The U.S. travel and tourism industry is looking at a record-setting year, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced July 13, with both spending and visitor numbers well above last year's figures. According to Acting Commerce Secretary Rebecca Blank, international visitors spent nearly $14 billion in travel to, and tourism-related activities within the U.S. in May. That's 8 percent more than last May. This puts the U.S. on pace for a record-setting year with international visitors having spent more than $68 billion this year to date, up 12 percent compared to 2011. |

WV State Travel Guide 2013
Preparations are underway for the 2013 WV State Travel Guide. Created by Miles Media, this is the main fulfillment piece used by the WV Division of Tourism in their call center and at various travel shows throughout the nation. Each year, nearly half a million copies are distributed!
Miles Media is now taking reservations for ads, events and accommodations listings, and the business directory in the 2013 guide. Members of the Martinsburg-Berkeley County CVB will receive discounts on ads and listings if booked through our office.
