Wine & Arts Festival

 

Historic Boydville is the setting for one of the areas most popular events, the WV Wine & Arts Festival, held Memorial Day weekend each year.  Enjoy West Virginia wines, artists from around the region, and live entertainment on the shady Boydville lawn.  The 2012 festival will be held Saturday, May 26 (11 am to 7 pm) and Sunday, May 27 (1 to 6 pm).

A Summer Full of Music

 

Martinsburg and Berkeley County will be filled with the sound of music this summer.  Here are just a few of the outdoor events that will feature live music:

 

Concerts in War Memorial Park - Each Thursday from May 31 through  August 9, spend the evening at the park and listen to some of the area's most popular musical groups.

 

Shake off the work week with Fridays @ 5 in the Town Square, each Friday in June and July.  Enjoy live music, a beer and wine garden, and stay downtown for dinner!

North Mountain Arts Festival

 

Located in historic Hedgesville, the North Mountain Arts Festival on June 2 will celebrate local and regional artists and craftsmen. From 9 am to 4 pm, this juried festival will showcase a variety of arts and crafts, including jewelry, pottery, wood-working, fused and stained glass, photography, and quilting.  Live island-acoustic music will be provided by Souky and the Lodestar Llamas will be onsite.  While you're in Hedgesville, be sure to visit the unique shops and beautiful churches in town.  Visit www.NorthMountainArts.com for more info.
