La Trattoria Named Unique Place to Dine

Known for great service and high quality Italian food for over 19 years, La Trattoria has been named as 101 Unique Places to Dine in West Virginia.  The restaurant was described as:

"Excellent Italian fare. All of the pasta dishes are excellent, but their meat lasagna using WV locally raised and processed beef is wonderful. Their Italian dishes are a fusion of all the cultures. Their hospitality and food is beyond compare."

In fact, The family-owned restaurant has been named #1 Restaurant in Martinsburg four years in a row through The Journal's Reader's Choice Awards.  Visit La Trattoria at 240 Lutz Avenue (off Edwin Miller Blvd) in Martinsburg.  Call 304-262-6925 for reservations or visit www.LaTrattoriaWV.com for more information.

The annual dining guide is created by the WV Division of Tourism, in conjunction with the Collaborative for the 21st Century Appalachia.  The public was asked to vote for their favorite unique dining locations and, while it is just a sampling of the culinary adventures that define West Virginia's food heritage, there is something for every taste. The guide is available through the West Virginia Division of Tourism website (click here) or by calling 1-800-CALL-WVA.
