We're down to the last few days before Pickin' in the Panhandle, and the weather forecast keeps improving.  "Partly cloudy with a stray thunderstorm possible. Highs in the low 80s and lows in the low 60s."  If you ask us, that's perfect Pickin' weather! 

We have an awesome lineup this year, complete with 28 bands playing bluegrass, newgrass, country and more.  Nearly 50 teams have registered to compete for the title of KCBS WV State BBQ Champion, and 30 have registered to be named the Best in Backyard BBQ.  Thirty-one of these teams have volunteered to cook for the Tastin' Tent.  Over 25 people are registered to compete in our music competitions, a dozen food vendors will be onsite to curb your hunger, and over two dozen arts and crafts vendors and nonprofits will participate as well.
