Don't miss the first annual EPBA Pick & 'Nic Festival this Saturday at Moose Acres!  Gates open at 10 am, with music and workshops running from 11 to 7.  Live music, clogging demos and workshops with Charlie Burton, and instrument workshops with local musicians.  Food vendors with kettle korn, lemonade, BBQ and more!  

 

Pavilion seats up to 300 people and there's plenty of shade at Moose Acres.  What a perfect way to spend a Saturday with your friends and family!  Advance tickets are only $10 at www.PanhandleBluegrass.org or at the CVB office located at 115 N. Queen St. in Martinsburg.  Tickets will be $15 at the gate.

Big Bad Burger Contest Coming Up!

 

Think you have the biggest, baddest burger in town?  There's still space for one more contestant for the Big Bad Burger Contest on June 11.  EBBB Contest Logonter now by calling Selina at 304-886-8527.

 

Even if you're not competing, plan to attend  the event, which benefits the Eastern Panhandle Free Clinic.  Twenty area chefs, both backyard and professional, will be creating some amazing burgers.  While you're there, rock out to the amateur band showcase, take a quick bounce in the inflatables for kids and adults, or quench your thirst in the beer garden. 

 

Saturday, June 11 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Martinsburg Mall, near the mini-golf course entrance.  Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Eastern Panhandle Free Clinic, which provides medical care to low income, uninsured residents of West Virginia.  For more information, visit BigBadBurger.Blogspot.com.

167th Airlift Wing C-5K Fun Run

 

See the largest Air Force Airlifter up close as you run with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  This run provides a mix of on and off road surfaces, with your finisher photo taken with the C-5 in the background. As you finish, you'll have the opportunity to walk through this massive airframe.

 

Support of the men and women of your U.S. Air Force Team and the 167th Airlift Wing.  Proceeds support the local United Way and the Thunder Over The Blue Ridge Air Show/ Kids Village this September.
