This Week at the Columbus County Community Farmers Market
November 2-7, 2009 |
Dear ,
Welcome to this edition of our Columbus County Community Farmers Market E-newsletter.
New Sign Installation Now Complete
After several months of jumping through hoops and overcoming obstacles, installation of a new Farmers Market sign at the corner of U.S. Highway 701 Bypass and Government Complex Road is now complete. Electrical service and lighting is still need, but the back-lit reader board is being used to inform passers-by of important news and events. The sign also includes directional information for the neighboring agriculture services and Department of Social Services agencies.
Special thanks to Kenny & Lynn White of Signs & Designs South in Whiteville, for their patience and persistence with the project.
Visit the Market this week for a variety of locally grown, farm fresh fruits & vegetables (see list under What's Available below). |
