This Week at the Columbus County Community Farmers Market

Dear ,

Welcome to this edition of our Columbus County Community Farmers Market E-newsletter.

We had the largest and one of the best Opening Day events in the history of the Market.

2009 Flag Raising CeremonyOur thanks to everyone who helped to make the day so special!  These include our guest speakers Rev. Tommy Fields, Whiteville Mayor Dial Gray, County Commissioner Chairman James Prevatte, State Representative Dewey Hill, and State Senator R. C. Soles, and Cub Scouts Pack 512 who conducted an impressive flag raising ceremony.

Everyone enjoyed the entertainment by Edgewood Elementary School chorus and the free homemade ice cream sponsored by Waccamaw Bank.

We look forward to seeing you again this week
