heart felt THANK YOU to all. Contributions to the Good Works Program
during 2009 totaled
$1,687,145.53. That represents a nearly
1 percent increase over 2008. 36,297 Colonels pitched in to make the
total. They represented every state in the USA and 30 other nations.
In
addition to contributions, bequests received during the year totaled
over
$184,000.
Contributions to the Honorable Order's Good Works Program are 100% deductible in the United States. The IRS will accept canceled checks or credit card statements as proof of donations of less than $250. Over that amount, a written receipt is required. If you are in that category and have misplaced your receipt letter, please contact Headquarters. The members email address is in the lower left corner of this e-letter.
