Nine out of ten people like chocolate. The tenth person always lies...
So let's face it, chances are you probably like chocolate. I personally love it, and that is why I am so excited to extend an invitation to this year's 15th annual Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy. This highly anticipated event is an evening of hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer, live entertainment, fantastic auction items, and most importantly chocolate! When I say chocolate, I don't mean three or four trays of desserts. The main attraction of Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy is a spread of chocolate desserts measuring more than 55 feet in length and ending with a giant dark chocolate fountain.
Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy is a perfect pre-Valentine's Day date, a fun-filled Girls' Night Out, or just a great reason to join others from the area to support an organization that provides essential support and services to victims of domestic violence, their children, and the community. All proceeds from the evening go directly to the programs and services provided by A Woman's Place (AWP), the only domestic violence organization in Bucks County, Pa.
We are also holding a drawing for our Fantasy Raffle the night of the event. This past weekend Mother Nature kindly dumped over a foot of snow on us and intends to do this again this week and next week! By the time you are done shoveling next week I am sure you will be ready to head someplace warmer. Why not the Bahamas? This year's raffle prize is a trip for 2, airfare included, to the Super-inclusive Breezes Resorts Bahamas on Nassau for four days and three nights. Tickets are only $20 each and you don't even have to be present at the drawing to win, so why not take a chance?!?
Included in this Special Chocolate Edition of the Community E-Connection is more information on the "Cold?! Schmold?! Fantasy Raffle", a listing of some of the auction items that will be featured at the event, and information on our online auction that is taking place right now.
The 15th annual Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 6 p.m. at the majestic Tyler Hall on the campus of Bucks County Community College. For more information call 215.343.9241 x108, email Jenny Salisbury, or click here to view our Web site.
Don't miss this must-taste event!
