The proceeds from Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy support AWP, the only domestic violence agency in Bucks County, Pa. AWP is a community organization working to end domestic violence, a community issue that requires community effort and support to eradicate. AWP provides a full range of assistance and support services for victims of domestic violence and their children, including a free 24-hour confidential hotline, a full-service residential shelter, individual and group counseling, legal and medical advocacy, and a children's project. As domestic violence affects everyone in a community, AWP also provides comprehensive community-based domestic violence awareness and prevention training, education, outreach, and advocacy.
A Sweet Success
A Re-cap of the 14th annual Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy

Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy Raffle TicketsNow that February 7th has come and gone, and we've had a chance to catch our breath, we are proud to say that The 14th Annual Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy was a resounding success! We would like to thank all our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and staff for helping to make Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy into a magical evening.

This year's event far exceeded our expectations! Over $80,000 was raisedBoard Attendees Choc09 for A Woman's Place (AWP) through this year's Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy and the event boasted over 55 feet of "everything chocolate", with 35 "live" auction items, 127 silent auction items, and 29 event sponsors. We had over 200 attendees who enjoyed the splendor of all that was donated by eating dessert first, while bidding on their favorite items.

Winning BiddersTwo of our clients spoke during the "live" auction, which helped bring the issue to light of why we were all gathered - to positively affect lives and help bring an end to domestic violence. Amy and Wendy's lives, as well as their children's are forever changed thanks to the support they received from AWP. "I could not do what it took to successfully leave my abusive relationship if it were not for the counseling and legal support that I received from A Woman's Place." Amy now lives on her own with her young daughter, holds a responsible job, supports her family, is free from abuse and is happy.

It is through events like Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy that we can not only raise the significant amount of money needed to keep our programs and services in place, but raise the awareness necessary to expand the education and advocacy required to end domestic abuse and violence.
