Dear Travelers,
Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2009, the largest annual travel show in Thailand, has always marked June as a special month for travel professionals exploring Thailand and the Greater Mekong region for the new activities and destinations for their clients. For visitors, June is also a fabulous month as Thailand kicks off its annual popular campaign, the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale. To make it easier to plan how to shop 'til you drop, visit the Thailand Grand Sale 2009 Minisite anytime.
There is no better time to visit Thailand than now. CNN has recently announced the results of its Online Consumer Survey (OCS), which revealed that Thailand was chosen as representing the best value for travelers' money in the Asia Pacific region. Also, special tours for transfer passengers making stopovers of 12 hours or less at Suvarnabhumi International Airport are being offered from June 2009 to May 2011. Moreover, our newly launched Bangkok SkyTrain route linking Bangkok's prime business districts to the west bank of the Chao Phraya River means passengers can commute between the two locations in just a few quick minutes. Finally, our Prime Minister and Tourism Minister have planned roadshows to restore tourism operators' confidence and help boost the Thailand tourism industry.
As always, contact us anytime for any information you may need. Just dial 1-800-THAILAND, visit www.tourismthailand.org/la or e-mail our new address at info@tatla.com.
Warm wishes,
