We have the privilege of having one of the nation's leading building industry marketing gurus coming to Traverse City on Nov. 9th and 10th. His name is Jerry Rouleau, founder of Builder Radio and President of J. Rouleau and Associates. You should have received information about this in your Tuesday Toolbox yesterday. However, I'm sending a special notice to all builders now to make sure you are aware of the opportunities to learn from him. Jerry has been an in-demand presenter at IBS for about 20 years. He is also sought after by Fortune 500 companies and leading building industry leaders to present his sage marketing wisdom.
On Monday, Nov. 9th, I have arranged an exclusive roundtable for a group of no more than 12 people to meet with him for an extended luncheon meeting from 12 noon - 2:30 p.m. at the Cambria Suites Board Room. You will have a private audience with him and can openly discuss issues relative to your business in this tough market. The opportunity to have lunch and the exclusive session costs $40 and is available on a first come, first serve basis. Seating is limited to a dozen so if you're interested, call the office ASAP to reserve your spot (946-2305).
Next, on that same evening, Nov. 9th, we are co-hosting a very special networking night with our HBA, The Builders Exchange of Northwest Michigan and the Traverse Area Association of Realtors. There is no cost for members and guests to attend but reservations would be appreciated. The meeting begins at the WATERFRONT at 5:15 p.m. A member orientation will take place at 4:30 p.m. that evening but at the TAMARACK LODGE instead because of space limitations at that hour at the Waterfront. Jerry Rouleau will also be on hand that evening to mingle with our guests and talk briefly to the group about marketing in Michigan.
Our Builder Forum that evening is being sponsored and presented by Bank of America. A team of mortgage specialists, led by Julie Courtade will share some very valuable information about new FHA 203K Mortgages that are little known opportunities to acquire money for construction and remodeling.
Lastly, on Tuesday, Nov. 10th, "Marketing on a Shoestring" will be presented. It is a seminar facilitated by Jerry Rouleau at the Cambria Suites. The cost is $25 per person for HBA, TAAR and BX members. This includes a full breakfast. The seminar will run from 8-11 a.m.with breakfast from 7-8 a.m. If you are interested in attending, you will need to fax back the attached registration form within the week.
We hope that by bringing in Jerry and offering these special programs, you may find new and innovative ways to market your business in this challenging period in our industry.
Sincerely,
Kathy Maisonville
Executive Officer
