viper torqueWe are really excited to be training with TORQUE this year. This is a great opportunity for our athletes and we look forward to a strong year! Our parents have the opportunity to use TORQUE this year too. TORQUE is offering Viper Parents 25% OFF of all memberships. Josh and staff will be at the Viper Kick Off if you want to sign up or if you have any questions.

Reminder - if you haven't turned in your TORQUE release form - you will not be able to participate. It is available on the Viper Website on the Girls Page.
Postural Solutions
Viper had been working with Postural Solutions for the past 3 years to help develop fit, functional and healthy athletes. We will continue working with them this year but in a
different way. With the addition of TORQUE, Postural Solutions will provide our athletes solely with therapy and corrective services. Body maintenance is really important for
athletes that place a high demand on their body day in and day out.

Postural Solutions is providing Viper athletes with a FREE clinic hour every Monday from 5:30-6:30pm. We encourage all players dealing with chronic injuries, pain, or performance limitations to take advantage of this amazing opportunity.  The Postural Solutions clinic is located in Suite 295 directly above the Torque training facility.
For more information about Postural Solutions visit the website.

viper loungeViper athletes and families can also get any other Postural Solutions service at 15% off.

Inspirational Quote

"Fundamentally, the marksman aims at himself."  -  Eugen Herrigel14smerileefun

This idea seems more poignant then ever because at the moment, there is a high value given to those who hit the mark of success. This high value, praise and attention can confuse athletes into believing that the success is what's important, instead of the experience of playing. It's important to remember to enjoy the playing and to keep learning the sport you love to play. That way your passion and understanding of the sport will continue to grow and expand.

The happiest athletes are able to incorporate their athletic experience and love of playing into their daily lives. They use the
team concepts, self-confidence and work ethic they've learned to14smerileenice
build strong families and relationships, succeed in school and
inspire others to achieve their personal best.

A great example of this concept is Merilee's 14 Elite team from 2009. These girls really love to play volleyball and they really worked hard and improved throughout the season. After the season, they took what they learned and applied it to their daily lives. Over the fall, these girls participated in community service, Race for the Cure, made the honor roll, volunteered at Christmas tree lots, fed the homeless and made new friends in high school. Great job girls and keep up the good work!
