Greetings from Neighbors West-Northwest!  April is filled with great ways you can help your neighborhoods.  One of the easiest ways you can help, is by taking the Neighborhoods Services Survey that will be used to guide neighborhood and coalition activities. Join us for a preview performance of  This Lime Tree Bower  -  a touching, marvelously entertaining tale of three young men from a Dublin seaside town - on May 6, 2010.  A pre-performance block party begins at 6:30 p.m. - bring your favorite cookies to share!  Raffle tickets are available for purchase at the block party and in advance! Theater seating begins at 7:45 p.m.

Linnton Elections

Positions are open on the Linnton Neighborhood Board.  Consider serving today!  Elections will happen at the May 5th annual meeting from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at 10614 NW St. Helens Rd. Nominations for board positions will be accepted from the floor.
Sylvan-Highlands Youth Bike Fair

Save the Date! Saturday, June 19 @ 10:00AM. East Sylvan Middle School. For youth of all ages and their parents. All neighborhoods welcome. Transportation Bike Alliance safety instruction class on riding and helmet safety, maintenance tips from a local bike retailer, snacks, prizes and a neighborhood bike ride with Portland Police. Central Precinct has recently seen an increase in car prowls recently.  Following these steps will keep you safer:
1) Keep the interior of your car clean.
2) Put valuables out of site.

3) Don't put personal identification in your car.
4) Park in safe, well lit areas.
