Identity Theft Prevention Techniques

Identity theft can happen to anyone.  The best way to avoid becoming a victim is to use good prevention techniques.  December is identity theft prevention and awareness month, and a good time to remember some simple practices that can help protect your identity.

Go to the Crime Prevention Spotlight page for tips on keeping your personal information out of the hands of criminals, and to access links including: a short video on identity theft, credit reporting agency sites, Federal Trade Commission's identity theft page, educational materials, and many other resources for fighting fraud with your identity.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Respectfully,

Frank Silva
