Purchase Tickets for our Annual Benefit
Our annual benefit is just around the corner. We hope that you will
show your support and join us for for an evening of refreshments and
live theater. In collaboration with CoHo Productions, we will be

Spring 2009 Neighborhood Cleanups
In the spirit of volunteerism, we are very proud to announce the neighborhood clean ups happening near you this spring. Consider getting involved in a clean up to show your love for the neighborhood and your commitment to improving your community.
NWDA Second Saturday Neighborhood Clean Up Saturday May 9th, 9 am - 10:30 am. Meet at Food Front to participate, trash bags
and gloves are provided, and afterward the group convenes for social time and
refreshments.
Sylvan-Highlands Annual Clean Up Saturday April 18th, 9 am - 12 pm. Meet at the Sylvan
Starbucks to pick up supplies and participate; first 25 volunteers will receive
a complimentary lunch at Pizzicato.
Forest Park Neighborhood Clean Up Saturday April 18th, 9 am - 12 pm. Meet at the
luncheonette on the corner of NW Skyline Blvd and NW Germantown Rd to clean up litter and pull invasive garlic
mustard.
Northwest District Association Second Annual Graffiti
Removal Saturday May 9th, 9 am - 1 pm. Meet at the
Fred Meyer Lobby. Call 503-823-4288 x 7

Polish the Pearl Saturday
May 17th, 9 am - 1 pm.
Meet at Peet's Coffee on 11th and Couch to pick up
supplies and a pastry before cleaning the streets with your neighbors. Contact Jan Valentine to learn more.

April Membership Drive - Two for one Walk Safe Umbrellas
Stop by the Coalition office in April and sign up to join your Neighborhood Association. New members are eligible to take home two Walk Safe Umbrellas for the price of one! These umbrellas were designed to maximize pedestrian safety by increasing visablity on cloudy gray, wet days and evenings.
