Fight Against Butt Litter
What will you be doing on January 1, 2009? Perhaps stepping into your favorite bar and rejoicing because you no longer smell like an ashtray when you get home. Just because cigarettes are no longer allowed in your hang out does not mean that smoking will stop. As smokers are forced outdoors, will they find places to dispose of butts without littering? Tell us what you think and consider joining neighborhood volunteers' fight against butt litter. For more information about neighborhood efforts, email alison@nwnw.org.
