Opening: Fullmetal Alchemist-(dubbed) @ Valley Art Theatre
A fugitive alchemist with mysterious abilities leads the Elric brothers to a distant valley of slums inhabited by the Milos, a proud people struggling against bureaucratic exploitation. Ed and Al quickly find themselves in the middle of a rising rebellion, as the exiled Milos lash out against their oppressors. At the heart of the conflict is Julia, a young alchemist befriended by Alphonse. She'll stop at nothing to restore the Milos to their former glory - even if that means harnessing the awful power of the mythical Philosopher's Stone. Time's Vary.

Unity Walk @ Tempe Arts Park
From 10 am to 11 am walk for unity in our community at Tempe Arts Park. Families, community organizations, scout groups, schools, and faith groups are encouraged to participate. Walkers are encouraged to carry signs and banners representing their groups.
Guided Tour: Tempe Walk Through History @ Hackett House
One of Tempe's greatest attributes is its many authentic, historic buildings and structures. In downtown Tempe, dozens of structures dating back as far as the 1800s are within walking distance. Join the Tempe Historic Preservation Foundation, the Tempe Historic Preservation Office and many others for the Downtown Tempe Walk Through History, a guided tour of these wonderful places. The event happens on Feb. 4, from 9 am- 12 pm.

Skirt Chaser Race @ Tempe Beach Park Skirt Sports, inventor of the running skirt, believes fitness should be fun. The Skirt Sports Skirt Chaser 5k Race Tempe mixes racing, flirting and entertainment for a guaranteed great time! Women start first, while men wait in anticipation for three LONG minutes. Once the men FINALLY start the chase is really on! What happens next is just over 3 miles of anticipation: Will the gals be caught? Will the guys get the thrill of not only the chase but also the win? The first person to cross the line, male or female, takes home $500! It's just a friendly little rivalry - but so far the women are kicking butt! The Skirt Chaser race and block party takes place at Tempe Beach Park from 8 am to 8 pm.

The PetSmart Charities PetWalk™ and Adoption Event presented by Purina Pro Plan is a festival to celebrate the compassion we have for pets!
