of Clothing Matters' 15 years as leaders in sustainably manufactured apparel.
I've thoroughly enjoyed being back in the store to share product with people who increase my knowledge and appreciation of what we carefully select to offer.

The Bar Keeps Getting Higher 
Perhaps our biggest news is that in the 5 months following March, sales of products designed & hand-made in Michigan for us have more than tripled compared to the last 5 years!! Most impressive is how our current collection makes it easier than ever to get dressed, look better than you have to, and be more comfortable than you've ever been. We and our customers love this way of simplifying our lifestyles while improving personal, social and ecological well-being~ Our valued local supporters as well as loyal customers who re-visit from Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle & many European countries continue to confirm that there isn't a collection of eco apparel that compares to the world class selection Clothing Matters has offered Grand Rapids since 1996. We're honored to serve our diverse and discerning clientele who appreciate better products that are made with respect for people & the planet. We've worked with over 100 partners committed to providing highest quality apparel and accessories using practices & policies that prevent pollution, conserve resources & promote social justice. Sadly, 70% of these partners have had to discontinue their lines due to the
fact that if the world doesn't get what you're doing, you don't get to do it for long.
Many of our customers are taking advantage of limited supply "collector's items"
