Spotlight: Robert "Sal" Salvetti
Equine Massage Therapist at the Top of His Game
Equimedia Communications is pleased to announce that Equine Massage Therapist Robert "Sal" Salvetti has joined our ever growing list of clients.
Sal is a dressage rider himself and has been around horses for many years. During his tenure as a stable manager for top dressage barns he quickly learned that the quality of life a sport horse enjoys directly impacts his abilities and performance. He understands that a comprehensive health care program is essential to their wellbeing and feels that becoming a massage therapist was a natural result of seeing first hand the difference that alternative therapies make in a horse's longevity, happiness and way of going. He understands the subtle nuances that horses provide as feedback and correlates this to the actual feel of muscle tissue during the massage therapy session. This combined with traditional medicine, rider feedback, top notch daily care and training creates the best possible environment for horses with a high performance focus.
In addition to regular sessions at the stable, Sal excels at massage during competitions and tailors the therapy to the specific needs of the horse at the show.
Sal is trained and qualified in both human and equine massage therapy. He has a deep knowledge of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology and is constantly continuing and enhancing his education by attending seminars and participating in anatomy labs at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.
Sal's new website is currently in the construction stages. Visit www.salmassage.com for contact information. Continue to check in for updated information on Sal, and an all new website coming soon...by Equimedia Communications!
