Happy New Year!  January is National Hot Tea month, and the heart of the cold and flu season.  So, we encourage you to drink hot tea and stay healthy to start the year.

This month we feature our Matcha powdered green teas, known as the healthiest beverage in the world.  Learn a bit more from the links here and take advantage of the discount on both our Organic Matcha and the Ceremonial Matcha from our online shop through the end of February.

Our Matcha lattes have been extremely popular in our Siesta Key Village shop and in the Selby House Cafe at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.  Try Matcha with soy milk for a truly unique, energy boosting beverage or checkout our Facebook page for other ideas.

Matcha Green Tea

Hard to imagine at this time of the year, but Chef Maryna at Local Catering shared a detailed recipe for Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream in an early post found here.

Our presence at the Sarasota Farmer's Market is growing.  You can find our Mote Beach Tea every Saturday from Maggie's Seafood Gourmet Fish Stand.  And six of our teas are available hot from the JavaDawg Coffee bus every week (Harrogate Yorkshire, Early Grey, Strawberry Smile, Pinhead Gunpowder, Peach Paradise and Selby Select).  Sunny Day Soaps has created a honey and rooibos soap using our rooibos teas and Pop Craft Pops has created an artisan popsicle using our Selby Select rooibos tea.  Pretty cool and please check out these local companies next time you visit the market.
