Important Christmas Information for Parents

Dear Parent

Please read the following for important information about opportunities for your child to participate in Christmas celebration events! We hope you will mark your calendar and make a point of joining in!

Christmas Play - December 13

PreK - 5th graders will be singing "Away in the Manger" with Treehouse Preschool children as a part of our all-church Christmas play taking place during both services on December 13.

We will be practicing in both hours of Sunday School during the coming weeks.If you would like to practice with your child at home, please use the verses printed below.

More detailed info will follow as we get closer to the date.

Away in a manger, no crib for his bed
The little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head
The stars in the sky looked down where he lay,
The little Lord Jesus asleep in the hay

The cattle are lowing, the poor baby wakes
But Little Lord Jesus, no crying he makes.

Sunday School Class Advent Readings and Candle Lighting - Starts November 29

Elementary children only (K-5th)

Your child's Sunday school and Children's Church classes will be doing the readings for the Advent candle lighting each Sunday during the Advent season.

Please check the schedule below for when each class will be participating.

Would you try to have your child there on that day so that the class will be well-represented with their teacher?

Teachers are looking for children to do short readings for that day. Please let the teacher know if your child can participate!

    Nov 29: 1st hr: GR 5    2nd hr: GR K/1

Dec 6:          GR 3/4       Boyd family

Dec 13:       GR 1/2           GR 2/3

Dec 21:         GR K              GR 4/5
