Contrary to many reports about locum work being in short supply, I can honestly say that we have never had a busier January at PL-UK since we launched in 2004.
In the North East of England all our locums are fully booked until the end of March and we are desperately in need of more locums in the area. If you are interested in coming to the North East please give Lynne or Linda a ring on 0333 123 3344.
Key Locums
In other areas we are busy working on our key locum service. A key locum is one who has worked with PL-UK before, who provides a reliable, professional service when they arrive at the pharmacy and who give PL-UK first option to fill their diary. Each key locum will have their own geographical area in which they will be PL-UK's first choice locum if any vacancies arise.
