2008 locum survey results

92% of our candidates are either highly satisfied or satisfied with the service they receive!

At PL-UK Recruitment we are absolutely delighted with the results of our 2008 survey of locum pharmacists as it shows that all the hard work we put into serving our candidates pays off. How do we achieve such a high level of locum pharmacist satisfaction you may ask?
  1. The first reason is that our locum pharmacist support team offer a service that's second to none. The team have over 20 years pharmacy experience and start by taking time to understanding each individual locum pharmacists needs before finding pharmacy locum positions for them.
  2. Secondly, PL-UK can offer locum pharmacists variety. We place locum pharmacists in community pharmacies large and small, in hospital pharmacies, in maximum security and local prisons and even in MOD barracks and clinical trials companies with some locums working in two or three sectors in one week!
  3. The third reason is that we can make your career much more enjoyable and stressful. If you hand your diary over to the PL-UK, tell them where you want to work and how much you charge, the locum team will do the rest for you. No more early morning calls from  numerous multiples or haggling over rates, we will do all that for you.
  4. The fourth and final reason is we don't do hard sell. We won't force you to work solely though PL-UK unlike some other agencies. We are happy to rely on our service to bring you back to PL-UK time and time again.

BLOCK BOOKINGS QUESTIONS TO ASK

A fantastic way to secure high rate, long term bookings is to undertake block bookings away from home. Typically situated in geographically remote area like Cornwall, Norfolk or the Western Isles of Scotland, Block bookings can be either for community, hospital or prison service placements.

Key questions to ask before undertaking a block bookings:
  1. Can I put up with being away from home for weeks/months?
  2. Will I be placed in a single pharmacy or will I move around? (Community)
  3. Where will I stay? - visit website to make sure it's comfortable?
  4. Will i have to pay for the accommodation and then claim the costs back or will the company pay the costs for me?
  5. Is the booking confirmed with the client - don't book any accommodation or travel tickets without written confirmation
