We're always excited to show off our city to visitors from other parts of the country. Most first-time visitors are surprised at the beauty of our residential areas, the vibrancy of our downtown, and the rolling topography of the entire area. We recently toured visitors from Boston and Maine through Mountain Brook's villages and residential areas. They remarked not only on the beauty of the architecture, but also on the charm, the pedestrian scale, and the uniqueness of the villages. They commented on the personal service they received from the merchants, as well as the high quality, one-of-a-kind merchandise. We are so fortunate to live in this community and delighted that the residents continue to support ordinances which preserve its unique scale and character.
