Connect with KidVenture! Greetings!
KidVenture wants to kick-off Fall programming next weekend - Sunday, August 26 - but, we are very low on Small Group/Crew leaders right now. It takes a great number of helpers to provide quality connections with the large number of kids who attend KidVenture each Sunday. As things currently stand, we are in need of 43 more Small Group/Crew Leaders for the upcoming school year. This may sound unbelievable, but this is what we still need for our Preschool and Elementary programming at our 9 and 10:30 am hours.
Most volunteers serve an average of two times per month with a team of leaders. Schedules are flexible and are determined by the team you work with. All curriculum and supplies are provided. You do not need to be a Biblical scholar to help in KidVenture! In fact, serving as a KidVenture leader is a great way to enhance your own spiritual journey as well. Consider connecting with the children of Calvary, and possibly your own child, in this very important part of their spiritual development. The only requirement to serving in KidVenture is taking our Child Protection Training. T his class is offered throughout the year and can be scheduled at your convenience. Currently, Small Group/Crew Leaders are needed for the following:
3 volunteers for 9 am Preschool 3 2 volunteers for 9 am Preschool 4 5 volunteers for 9 am Kindergarten 5 volunteers for 9 am First Grade 5 volunteers for 9 am Second Grade 6 volunteers for 9 am Third Grade 2 volunteers for 9 am Fourth & Fifth Grades 4 volunteers for 10:30 am Preschool 3 & 4 8 volunteers for 10:30 am Kindergarten-Third Grades 3 volunteers for 10:30 am Fourth & Fifth Grades
A KidVenture Small Group/Crew Leader Training Class is scheduled for this Sunday, August 19 from 6:30-7:30 pm in Room L2/L4 for all those interested in becoming or currently signed up as a KidVenture Small Group/Crew Leader.
