Children's Choir Sings This Sunday!
The KidVenture Children's Choir will sing THIS Sunday, February 26, during both the 9 am and 10:30 am worship services. If you have a child in the choir you should have received an email outlining the details for this week. Details can also be found in the Parent Note link on the KidVenture Children's Choir webpage.

Butter Braid/Cookie Sale
KidVenture Wednesday Night's 4th and 5th graders will be selling Butterbraids and Cookie Dough in the Atrium during worship services on March 3, 4, 10 & 11. Proceeds will go towards a spring retreat. Money will be collected when order is placed. Items will be available for pick-up before Easter.
Fourth & Fifth Grade Local Retreat Event!
On March 2-3 the nation's BIGGEST Christian preteen event, CIY SuperStart! is coming to Bloomington-Normal. The event will take place from Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon. Students and chaperones will meet at Calvary at 6 pm to drive as a group to the event. The group will return to Calvary for an overnight and then head back to more exciting, Christ-centered experiences. Parents may pick their children up at Calvary on Saturday, March 3 at 3:30 pm. The Hole in Our Gospel Starts This Week!
The Hole in Our Gospel sermon series begins this week and small groups are currently forming for the corresponding Lenten study. Lori and Mary will be leading a study starting Thursday, March 1, from 6:30-8 pm at the church. Childcare will be offered during that class and several others that will meet at the church. Make this part of your spiritual journey through Lent. Register online now! Or, sign up forms are available in the Atrium on Sunday mornings. Water Bottles Needed
Children will be learning about The Hole in Our Gospel through KidVenture Sunday and Wednesday programming during Lent as well. KidVenture is currently in need of empty water bottles that will be used for a project during the series. Please drop off dry, empty bottles (with lids attached) in the box located beneath the coat racks behind the Welcome Center now through February 26.
Electronic Check-in Is Here!
Calvary's KidVenture is happy to announce the roll-out of our new electronic check-in program for checking kids into KidVenture programs and nurseries. This process has already begun for our Wednesday night activities, and will begin for Sunday morning programs in the coming weeks.
Electronic Check-in Roll-out Schedule:
- Wednesday Night: Already in place
- 10:30 am hour: THIS Sunday, February 26
- 7:45 am hour: Sunday, March 4
- 9 am hour: Sunday, March 11

During this season we know the possibility of snow and ice can be unpredictable. In the event of inclement weather Calvary posts cancellations in several places:
Also, KidVenture activities are cancelled on days when Unit 5 Schools close due to weather.
