Wednesday Night Programs
Regular KidVenture Wednesday programming resumes THIS Wednesday, January 11 at 6:30 pm. Our teachers have had an enjoyable holiday, and are excited to see everyone again! If this week will be your first time attending, please see the room assignments below. We can't wait for you to join us for 2012! KidVenture Children's Choir will resume NEXT Wednesday, January 18, at 6 pm in Room L7. We are excited about all the singing opportunities the choir will have this semester! Please note that anyone in Grades K-5 is welcome to join the choir. For more information about this group, please check out the Children's Choir web page.
Family Movie Day
Mark your calendars for the upcoming KidVenture Family Movie Day, Sunday, February 12 from 3-5 pm. All Calvary families and friends are invited to the Worship Center to watch The Prince of Egypt. So bring your friends, a blanket to sit on, and a bowl for popcorn - we will do all the rest!
Calling All Bracelets! It's been a fun and engaging semester here at Calvary! We continue to see growth in all of our programs. We are excited to be sharing the love of Christ with so many children each week! As our attendance has increased, we tend to see a minor decrease in the number of security bracelets each week. Please check your purses, cars, coat pockets, and other various nooks and crannies to see if you might have a KidVenture security bracelet hanging around your home. |

Nursery Items Needed
The KidVenture Nursery would like to replace a couple of regularly used items that have outlived their useful life: a free-standing baby swing and a glider rocker. If your family has either of these items in gently-used condition and you find yourself not needing them anymore, we would be happy to give them a second life! Contact: KidVenture@ConnectWithCalvary.org.
Also, if you ever have gently-used toys or baby items you would like to donate to the KidVenture Nursery, we would be happy to accept your gifts. Please consider the following before bringing your items to the church:
- Toys should be durable - easily breakable items or items with tiny pieces can not be used in the Nursery.
- Toys should be easy to clean and sanitize - toys made of cloth or other soft textiles harbor germs and can not be easily washed.
- Toys or baby items should be intact and whole - please do not send items with noticeable rips, stains, or broken parts.
- In keeping with current federal standards KidVenture can not accept used car seats regardless of the age or condition.
