Reminder for Children's Choir Parents

Calvary's KidVenture Children's Choir is open to all children in Kindergarten-Fifth Grades. For more information, or if you are interested in having your children join the choir please visit the Children's Choir web page or contact KidVenture@ConnectWithCalvary.org.
Children's Choir will not rehearse through winter break, and will also not meet during the first two weeks of January. Rehearsals will resume on Wednesday, January 18, 2012.
Celebrate Christmas with Calvary

The Calvary Parlor will be available as a child soothing room December 23 and 24. Video and audio of the service will be provided in this room. KidVenture Nursery care will be available, if desired, for all children preschool age and younger during all services except the December 24, 11 pm service. |

Christmas Break KidVenture Schedule
KidVenture follows the Unit 5 Schools schedule for vacation days or weather cancellations. We will not hold KidVenture Wednesday programming during the Unit 5 Winter Break (Dec. 21-Jan. 3). We also will not hold programming on the first day back to school (Jan. 4).
Calvary will hold a single worship service at 10 am on Sunday mornings, December 25 (Christmas Day) and January 1 (New Year's Day). KidVenture Nursery care will be available on those mornings, but all other KidVenture programs will not meet. Children through preschool age may attend the Nursery if you choose, but all children are encouraged to attend worship with their families on those mornings.
Paid Childcare Worker Opportunity
KidVenture Nursery is in need of a Thursday morning childcare worker for next semester beginning January 19 from 8:45-11:15 am. This is a paid opportunity. Weekday subs for Wednesday and/or Thursday mornings are also needed. Contact Lori.Short@ConnectWithCalvary.org if you are interested in any of these opportunities.
Nursery Items Needed
The KidVenture Nursery would like to replace a couple of regularly used items that have outlived their useful life: a free-standing baby swing and a glider rocker. If your family has either of these items in gently-used condition and you find yourself not needing them anymore, we would be happy to give them a second life! Contact: KidVenture@ConnectWithCalvary.org.
Also, if you ever have gently-used toys or baby items you would like to donate to the KidVenture Nursery, we would be happy to accept your gifts. Please consider the following before bringing your items to the church:
- Toys should be durable - easily breakable items or items with tiny pieces can not be used in the Nursery.
- Toys should be easy to clean and sanitize - toys made of cloth or other soft textiles harbor germs and can not be easily washed.
- Toys or baby items should be intact and whole - please do not send items with noticeable rips, stains, or broken parts.
- In keeping with current federal standards KidVenture can not accept used car seats regardless of the age or condition.
