Christmas Dessert Concert This Friday!
Calvary is hosting a night of traditional Christmas music on December 2 at 7 pm. Enjoy adult and children choir renditions of traditional Christmas music as you enjoy delicious desserts. This event is free and open to the public, but a ticket is required to attend. Tickets will be available at KidVenture check-in on Wednesday evening and in the Calvary office during the week. Seating is limited, so be sure to get your tickets soon.
Reminder for Children's Choir:
Children's Choir will be participating in the Dessert Concert and also singing in worship this Sunday. A parent note will be handed out to choir members on Wednesday night that will outline the times and logistics for Friday night and Sunday morning singing.
Nursery Caregiver Appreciation
KidVenture offers childcare during every Worship Service and also for events like Bible studies, small groups, and meetings that take place at Calvary throughout the week. At this time of year we are asking those who make use of Calvary's childcare throughout the year to share their appreciation to all of our wonderfully dedicated childcare providers by showering them with gift cards. If you are interested in participating, please drop off $5-10 gift cards in the Nursery Volunteers Gift Card box located at the Welcome Center by December 18. They will be distributed equally among the childcare providers as a Christmas love gift to them. Consider purchasing your gift cards through Scrip.

Scrip offers you the opportunity to purchase gift cards to grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, and numerous retail stores and Internet sites. A percentage of each card purchase is given back to the church to help pay down the mortgage. Consider Scrip for your holiday gift-giving needs.

KidVenture and Calvary small group 2/4 & U would like to thank all those who helped fill shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Through your generosity, Calvary collected a total of 219 boxes to send to children in need throughout the world! Christmas will be just a little more special for 219 children who will receive the love of Christ and a little something extra special because of you. Thank you! 3rd & 4th Graders had a BLAST!  | |
3rd & 4th Graders take part in Bible 101 during the Bible Blast Overnight where they learned all sorts of great things about their Bibles.

Christmas Break KidVenture Schedule KidVenture follows the Unit 5 Schools schedule for vacation days or weather cancellations. We will not hold KidVenture Wednesday programming during the Unit 5 Winter Break (Dec. 21-Jan. 3). We also will not hold programming on the first day back to school (Jan. 4). Calvary will be holding a single worship service at 10 am on Sunday mornings, December 25 (Christmas Day) and January 1 (New Year's Day). KidVenture Nurseries will be open on those mornings, but all other KidVenture programs will not meet. Children through preschool age may attend the Nurseries if you choose, but all children are encouraged to attend worship with their families on those mornings. |
