Sunday KidVenture Fall Programs Kick-Off This Week!
Greetings!
We can't wait to get our KidVenture Fall programming underway this week! We have been busy all summer preparing exciting, Christ-centered programs for kids of all ages. Full programming will be available for students from Preschool through Fifth Grade during both the 9 and 10:30 am worship hours. KidVenture has made some updates and changes to our programs that are certain to excite your children. Be sure to view all the information below to learn about these changes. Also, we have moved things around a little, so be sure to check for all the new classroom assignments and check-in procedures for the different grade levels. Later this Fall, KidVenture will be implementing an electronic check-in process. Because of this, we are asking that all families to register their children (anyone in the family from birth through Fifth Grade), so that our database can be as complete as possible when this system goes live. Preschool Connection
 KidVenture Preschool takes place during our 9 and 10:30 am worship hours and is located in Rooms 106 and 108 in Calvary's Main Level Education Wing. Specific room assignments vary by worship hour and are outlined below.
In KidVenture Preschool children will experience the love of Christ through interactive lessons, games, songs and prayer. They will be excited to share with you what they learn each week! Be sure to ask them to share their "Remember Verse" with you after class - this is a class favorite!
Check-In/Check-Out For our 9 am program parents will check their preschoolers into their classrooms. At the 10:30 am hour parents will check-in their preschoolers outside of the Worship Center (look for the KidVenture check-in table). We currently use the KidVenture security bracelet system for check-in. Parents will receive a coded bracelet at check-in that will need to be returned to the child's teacher for check-out.

Kindergarten-Third Grade Connection
 Grade school KidVenture takes place during our 9 and 10:30 am worship hours throughout Calvary's Upper and Lower Level Education Wing. Specific room assignments vary by worship hour and are outlined below.
In KidVenture your children will experience God's love in a variety of ways. During the hour, all students will attend an energetic large group session where they will learn Bible stories and learn how to apply the lesson to their daily life. They will worship and pray and learn scripture along the way. Back in their classrooms they will engage in small group activities where they will deepen their understanding of the day's lesson through discussion and prayer.
Check-In/Check-Out For our 9 am program parents will check their children into their classrooms. At the 10:30 am hour parents will check-in their children outside of the Worship Center (look for the KidVenture check-in table). We currently use the KidVenture security bracelet system for check-in. Parents will receive a coded bracelet at check-in that will need to be returned to the child's teacher for check-out.

Fourth-Fifth Grade Connection
This Sunday  KidVenture is kicking off a brand new Fourth and Fifth Grade program called Grapple during our 9 and 10:30 am worship hours. Grapple tackles the tough questions your preteen students are asking about their relationships with God, others and themselves. It digs into the real-life issues they are dealing with every day - and shares what the Bible has to say about them.
Grapple doesn't stop when students leave the church. Students have the option to share in an online site called MyGrapple.com. Students and teachers can interact in a secure, password protected environment where they can ask questions about their lessons, share prayer requests and play Bible based games. All activity is monitored by our Grapple leaders.
Parental consent is required for students to participate in the online MyGrapple community. Forms will be available in class, or print one off today, sign it and bring it with you on Sunday! The sooner we have consent, the sooner your student can get their login information.

Check-In/Check-Out Students in grades four and five are not required to be checked in or out by a parent. We simply ask the kids to get themselves to class on time and to be prepared for fun. Classroom Assignment 9 and 10:30 Worship Hours

KidVenture Nursery The KidVenture Nursery offers families the option of childcare while parents attend worship, attend Sunday School, teach or serve the Calvary family on Sunday mornings. KidVenture Nursery is available throughout all worship hours on Sunday mornings and is located in Calvary's Main Level Education Wing in Rooms 107 and 109. Room assignments are determined by your child's age as of September 1, 2011 and are posted outside the door for each worship hour. US...
