THEME: Faithfulness
LEARN IT: We show we are faithful when we choose to complete a task without being asked
BIBLE STORY: "The fig tree with no fruit." Luke chapter 13:6-9
LINK IT: Distractions can keep us from doing what is important. Distractions can keep us from reading our Bible and praying. Distractions can keep us from growing in our relationship with God.
LIVE IT: Being faithful means, when you know what to do you follow through. As you complete each day's tasks pray, "God, help me to be an example of your faithfulness in every area of my life."
COMPASS POINT: "Before they ask, complete the task!"
MEMORY MAX: "Yes, the way to identify a tree or a person is by the kind of fruit that is produced." Matthew 7:20
PRAYER: God, thank you for your awesome faithfulness to us. We want to be people who show faithfulness in our lives everyday. Help us to be faithful sons and daughters, faithful students, faithful friends and faithful followers of Jesus.Give us strength to faithfully complete the things we have committed to do this week. In Jesus' name, Amen.
