 Teachers Needed for this Sunday! Please prayerfully consider taking one of the following slots to lead our children this week in KidVenture. The lesson and supplies are provided, so your role is simple. Children are loved by God and also at Calvary, so help us show His love by taking a week or two to lead the children closer to Him! Weaving Faith Into Life: You know God is growing love in your life when you respond in a loving way to those you love the least.
Are you being a FaithWeaver this week? Try this fun faith-growing activity with your child: Write down the names of 2 people who are hard to get along with. Make a list of ways you could show love to them. Spend 2 minutes each day praying and asking God to help you be a more loving person.
Summer KidVenture ClassroomsBeginning June 5, KidVenture will begin our summer routine. Please note the changes in classrooms for each grade level: 9 amPreschool 3, Room 108 Preschool 4 & Kindergarten, Room L3 1st grade, Room L7 2nd & 3rd grade, Room L6 4th & 5th grade, Room L8 10:30 am (begin in Worship Center) Preschool & Kindergarten, Room L3 1st through 5th grade, Rooms L2/L4 If you haven't taken the opportunity to sign up to teach summer or fall KidVenture, we encourage you to pray about this opportunity. Sign-up now to be a KidVenture Leader this summer or fall. Summer leader sign-up is available here: volunteer online sign-up. Sign-up for Summer and Fall is also available in the Atrium or by email kidventure@connectwithcalvary.org. Leaders are needed for one or several weeks during the summer months and also for next school year. For the school year, leaders work in teams which allows schedule flexibility; most leaders teach 2 weeks per month. All supplies are provided, so all we need is YOU!

Vacation Bible School 2011
Growing God's Word in Your Heart

Child Protection Training
There will be a Child Protection Training tomorrow evening, Wednesday, June 8 at 6:30 pm in Room 111.
All leaders working with children and/or youth at Calvary need to complete this training. If you have not completed this training within the past 5 years, please plan to attend one of these classes. Classes last approximately one hour and also include a background check. Please bring a form of identification and phone numbers of references. For more information, please contact

Calvary Night At The CornBelters
Monday, June 27, will be Calvary Night at the Normal CornBelters Baseball game! The CornBelters will take on the Florence Freedom at 7 pm at the Corn Crib. The Oh Say Can You Sing Children's Choir from Calvary will sing the national anthem. A limited number of tickets will be for sale in the Atrium this Sunday and next Sunday.
Children's Choir members should have received an e-mail today outlining a rehearsal schedule. Please contact Mary Harsh if you have any questions, mary.harsh@connectwithcalvary.org.
KidVenture Offering
KidVenture offering for April, May and June will bless our neighbors at Safe Harbor. Please consider bringing an offering to bless this ministry in downtown Bloomington which serves to feed, house and educate those transitioning through a homeless period of their lives.
