Bible Story: Jesus Teaches Us How To Pray For Difficult People.
Bible Theme: Jesus said to PRAY for your enemies.
Scripture: Matthew 5:1-12
Weaving Faith Into Life: Through this passage, children will understand that God wants us to pray for those who treat us badly.
Are you being a FaithWeaver this week? Try this fun faith-growing activity with your child: Write out a prayer for a difficult person in your life. Keep it in a place where you will be reminded to pray for that person often. Write down the changes that takes place as God answers your prayers.

Please note the changes in classrooms for each grade level: 9 amPreschool 3, Room 108 Preschool 4 & Kindergarten, Room L3 1st grade, Room L7 2nd & 3rd grade, Room L6 4th & 5th grade, Room L8 10:30 am (begin in Worship Center) Preschool & Kindergarten, Room L3 1st through 5th grade, Rooms L2/L4 If you haven't taken the opportunity to sign up to teach summer or fall KidVenture, we encourage you to pray about this opportunity. Sign-up now to be a KidVenture Leader this summer or fall. Summer leader sign-up is available here: volunteer online sign-up. Sign-up for Summer and Fall is also available in the Atrium or by email kidventure@connectwithcalvary.org. Leaders are needed for one or several weeks during the summer months and also for next school year. For the school year, leaders work in teams which allows schedule flexibility; most leaders teach 2 weeks per month. All supplies are provided, so all we need is YOU!

Building Informational Meeting
We strongly encourage you to attend on Wednesday, May 25 at 6 pm in Room 111 to give input and reaction to the current building plan. Special children's activities will be provided by Girls of Grace in Rooms L2/L4. Nursery care will also be provided in Room 109. You have an important voice in the building the future for Calvary!
Vacation Bible School Registration Registration for VBS is still open! Our theme for this year is Growing God's Word in Your Heart and will run June 13-16, 6:15-8 pm each evening. Please click here to register, including secure online payment. Volunteers may also click the registration button to sign up to help. Register your children ages 4 by September 1, 2011 up through entering 5th grade in the Fall of 2011. A donation of $5 per child, requested at the time of registration, helps to cover snacks, supplies and crafts. There are many volunteer opportunities for the week of VBS. Please check out the registration form and sign-up to serve God's children as we connect with God, one another and our world. Contact: kidventure@connectwithcalvary.org. Child Protection TrainingChild Protection Training will be held on the following days: - June 5 at 10:05 in Room 111
- June 8 at 6:30 pm in Room 111
All leaders working with children and/or youth at Calvary need to complete this training. If you have not completed this training within the past 5 years, please plan to attend one of these classes. Classes last approximately one hour and also include a background check. Please bring a form of identification and phone numbers of references. KidVenture Offering
KidVenture offering for April, May and June will bless our neighbors at Safe Harbor. Please consider bringing an offering to bless this ministry in downtown Bloomington which serves to feed, house and educate those transitioning through a homeless period of their lives.
