Journals and Prayer Cards 

The KidVenture Wednesday night journals provided each child an opportunity to reflect and respond to the Key Bible verse each week.  The journal is really a record of ways your child was growing throughout the year.  If you haven't had an opportunity to pick up your child's journal, please pick them up from the table on the Lower Level.  We sent these home the last Wednesday night that we had a regular session but there were several journals left in the grade-level boxes.  As a special gift for you, please pick up a set of Prayer Cards for your family.  These are located on the same table as the journals.

VBS Volunteer Meeting 

Thank you for volunteering for Vacation Bible School.  We are excited to have you help us this year.  VBS is June 13-16 from 6-8 pm.  We are asking our volunteers to please look ahead at your schedule and email us immediately if you cannot attend all four nights so we can make arrangements.  

You will get an email in a week with your exact volunteer placement.  Be sure to know your placement before attending the volunteer meeting.  

The volunteer meeting is set for May 22 at 10:05 am in Room 111.  We will have breakout sessions for each volunteer group.  If you cannot attend this meeting, it is important to let us know.

Please see below for Child Protection information.  We require all volunteers working with children and/or youth to complete this training every five years.   If you have not completed Calvary UMC's Child Protection Training in the past 5 years, please plan to attend one of these sessions.  If you are unable to attend any of these sessions, please contact  kidventure@connectwithcalvary.org to make arrangements for a different training time.
