Bible Theme: Jesus became like a servant and washed his friends' feet.
Scripture: John 13:1-15
Weaving Faith Into Life: Through this passage, children will understand that Jesus wanted his friends to serve others.
Are you being a FaithWeaver this week? Try this fun faith-growing activity with your child: read this week's Scripture, John 13:1-15, together and have the children brainstorm ways to serve others. Encourage your child or children to help around the home (set the table, help cook dinner etc.) and explain how serving others is caring and loving the people around them. Candy Collection
KidVenture is collecting candy to fill Easter Eggs for Easter morning. Tubs will be placed in the upper and lower education hallways as well as behind the Welcome Center to collect bags of candy. Thank you for your support.
VBS Registration Helpers
As most of you know, VBS is right around the corner,June 13-16, which means registration will be starting in just 2 weeks. We are excited to share that this process has been simplified and will all be done electronically. Registration helpers are needed in the Atrium on Sundays, April 3rd, 10th and 17th. Time commitment would be 5-10 minutes prior to the service until 5-10 minutes after the service starts. Volunteers are essential in every area of the VBS event, so please prayerfully consider helping with this exciting event! Macaroni Soup Concert
Macaroni Soup will come to Calvary on Friday, April 15, 6:30 pm, in the Worship Center. This sing-along, dance-along, do-along concert is free and full of family of fun! Children aged eight and below will love this interactive concert with Ms. Carole, Mr. Alvin and all of their furry friends! Friends, Neighbors and schoolmates are welcome to come join in the fun! KidVenture Partners with UMCOR
The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is collecting donations to help the victims of the recent earthquake and aftermath in Japan. To contribute to the effort with UMCOR, place your donation in the offering plate on Sunday morning and indicate "Japan" on the memo line or envelope.
