Bible Theme: Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
Scripture: Mark 11:1-11
Weaving Faith Into Life: Through this passage, children will gain understanding how the crowd recognized Jesus as the Messiah.
Are you being a FaithWeaver this week? Try this fun faith-growing activity with your child: read this week's Scripture, Mark 11:1-11, together and have the children pretend to waive palm branches and shout out "Hosanna! Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord!"
Family Prayer Room--Sign up today!
KidVenture would like to encourage your family to participate in a unique prayer opportunity for your children and families during this Lenten season. The Family Prayer Room is now open and will continue through Sunday, March 20. The hours include weekday evenings 5-8 pm, Wednesday (March 16) 8-8 pm and Sunday, 8-12 pm. During this time you may choose to paint, mold, color, read or simply pray. Devotions will be available to assist your time. Sign-ups for this prayer experience are available outside of L1 on the lower education level. This is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the Lent season and the sacrifice Jesus made for us all! |
Candy Collection
KidVenture is collecting candy to fill Easter Eggs for Easter morning. Tubs will be placed in the upper and lower education hallways as well as behind the Welcome Center to collect bags of candy. Thank you for your support.

Macaroni Soup Concert
Mark your calendars and plan to join us as KidVenture partners with Calvary's preschool to offer a free concert on Friday, April 15, beginning at 6:30 pm in the Worship Center! Your children second grade and younger will enjoy this high-energy, extremely active and engaging evening with their friends and family! More information will be sent out soon!
KidVenture Partners with UMCOR
The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is collecting donations to help the victims of the recent earthquake and aftermath in Japan. To contribute to the effort with UMCOR, place your donation in the offering plate on Sunday morning and indicate "Japan" on the memo line or envelope.
