Are you being a FaithWeaver this week? Try this fun faith-growing activity with your child: create a list of all the great things about yourself, and say a prayer together thanking Him for making you special.
KidVenture Connect With God Opportunity:
KidVenture would like to encourage your family to participate in a unique prayer opportunity for your children and families during this Lenten season. The Family Prayer Room will begin on Monday, March 14 and continue through Sunday, March 20. The hours include weekday evenings 5-8 pm, Wednesday (March 16) 8-8 pm and Sunday, 8-12 pm. During this time you may choose to paint, mold, color, read or simply pray. Devotions will be available to assist your time. Sign-ups for this prayer experience will begin soon and be available in half an hour slots. This is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the Lent season and the sacrifice Jesus made for us all! |

Important KidVenture Information!
Please plan for your family to participate in Calvary's Ash Wednesday Love Feast on Wednesday, March 9, at 6:30 pm in the Worship Center. This event will take place of our usual KidVenture @Night (kindergarten through third) and Mission Kids programs for the evening of Wednesday, March 9. Only Preschool KidVenture @ Night will still take place as usual in Room L3. We encourage families to experience this event which dates back to 1727 with a rich historical meaning. We are excited to be a part of the same tradition and as a Calvary family enjoy the Love Feast of sweet rolls and tea. Please RSVP to mary.harsh@connectwithcalvary.org.

Macaroni Soup Concert
Mark your calendars and plan to join us as KidVenture partners with Calvary's preschool to offer a free concert on Friday, April 15, beginning at 6:30 pm in the Worship Center! Your children second grade and younger will enjoy this high-energy, extremely active and engaging evening with their friends and family! More information will be sent out soon!
KidVenture Compassion Child
Our KidVenture Ministry has been blessed to partner with Compassion Ministries for over five years. We have enjoyed sponsoring a young twelve year old child named Tadcha Supawan (nickname, Smart) from Thailand. Over the years we have discovered this young man would like to be a policeman when we grows up and wants to protect his family and others. He enjoys learning and often spends time working in the fields with his younger sibling and mother. Through his letters we have learned he values prayer and it comforts him to know we lift him up in our prayers.
KidVenture would love for your family to write a letter to this young man. Another way to support Smart is by partnering in prayer and also giving to the KidVenture offering through March. Your support has made a huge impact in this young boy's life for many years! Thank you!
