Parents Night Out
For those who have registered for Parent's Night Out, just a reminder the fun will take place this Saturday, December 4, 2010 from 6-8:30 pm at Calvary UMC. Dinner will NOT be served so please be sure children eat dinner before arriving. A snack will be served. Please note any food allergies when registering. Parents, enjoy your evening out!
Butter Braids
Our Mission Kids, fourth and fifth grade students, are selling Show Me Dough products to raise funds for a spiritual retreat. Please consider supporting this group of students by purchasing Butter Braid pastries or cookie dough for your holiday season. Stop by the table in the Atrium this Sunday to place your order, but hurry the last day to order is Wednesday, December 8. All products will be available for pick-up in the Atrium on Sundays, December 12 and 19. Thank you for your support and giving these kids the opportunity to Connect with God and One Another! |

Mark your calendars...
Our KidVenture children, preschool through fifth, will head to Evergreen Village on Wednesday, December 8 to share Christmas cheer and love. We need parents to please check in and out their children at Evergreen, located across the street from Calvary. This evening includes our Mission Kids students. We are in need of yummy cookies to share, please contact Lori and Kerri if you would be willing to provide two dozen cookies.
Calvary Preschool is preparing for a special bake sale fundraiser on Sunday, December 12. They are in need of donated baked goods (cookies, cakes, pie or breads). Please deliver to Calvary on Saturday, December 11 or bring with you to church on Sunday, December 12. Thank you for your support!
All students in grades 4-8, please consider joining the fun for OSCYS. The deadline and first practice are this Sunday, December 5 from 10-10:30 am in Room L1. The kids will have a blast singing the Star Spangled Banner at an ISU basketball game on Sunday, January 23. Please contact patmessinger@comcast.net if you have any questions. |
