Greetings!

On Monday, July 12, the Administrative Board of Calvary approved a change in our Sunday morning schedule. Effective Sunday, September 19, our three worship services will begin at 7:45 am, 9 am and 10:30 am. The decision to change our Sunday morning schedule did not come lightly. It was preceded by several months of thoughtful discussion, research and prayer.
There are no plans to change the format or style of these services, only to move them to earlier time slots. These worship times will be augmented with two full hours of Christian education for children, students and adults at 9 am and 10:30 am.
Our recent congregational survey and research of other churches has shown that people prefer a mid-morning time slot. We believe by aligning our schedule to these times we will be able to provide more opportunities to make disciples of Jesus Christ at Calvary.
At the bottom of this article you will find additional information explaining the reasons behind these changes and what they mean for our church family. As we prepare for this change on September 19 I invite you to join me in prayer.
Sincerely,
Rev. Dr. Randall K. Perry
