| Greetings!
A call to action has been put out to assist those affected by the recent tornado in Streator. At this time the relief effort in Dwight has not called for donated items. This Sunday, Calvary will be collecting items for the Streator relief workers and those displaced by the storm. A list of needed items can be found below. Please also take note of other opportunities listed below to help those in need.
Current volunteer efforts have gone extremely well and at this time no more hands are needed. However, it is anticipated that hands on volunteers will be needed in Streator and Dwight in the coming weeks. Calvary will be forming work teams at that time and will let the congregation know if those opportunities become available.
In His Service,

Call to Prayer
Please consider taking a moment, right now, to pray for those in need in both Dwight and Streator. Ask that God would encourage them and fill them with hope. Pray that each victim would know His love and compassion and that in all things, they would look to Jesus Christ. Prayer is a powerful tool and one that every Calvary member can use to support those in need. |
