EDUCATION, ADVOCACY AND COMMUNITY SERVICE AT BOMA
BOMA members have been busy in recent weeks as they engaged in the three core functions of BOMA membership--education, advocacy and community service. BOMA engineers recently met for the Lifts, Ladders and Tie Offs Safety Seminar where they learned about inspection, maintenance and safety measures for different types of lifts; proper use of a safety harness and attaching a self-retracting life line; and types of inspection equipment for roof tie offs. Following that event was the Transportation Initiative Lunch-and-Learn where BOMA members learned why supporting the "yes" vote for the regional transportation referendums is so important. Finally, members continued to show support for Hillside, BOMA-Atlanta's chosen charity, at the 6th annual Fleming's Fundraiser. You can find photos from all these events on the BOMA-Atlanta Facebook page.
