Brandeis University Commencement
The choice of Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren to be the speaker at the Brandeis commencement on May 23 has seen its share of controversy, both on and off campus. Larry Sternberg, Executive Director of Brandeis Hillel, has shared his thoughts in a letter to the Brandeis community and we are grateful to Larry for sharing those with ShalomBoston.com.
To see this thought-provoking letter, see the Brandeis Commencement box on the home page now.
For a related article, referencing this situation as part of a more general discussion of divisiveness and the delegitimization of Israel, see the latest column by David Gordis, "If This is Our Future", also on the home page. |
