Between Brussels and Paris
Hey Everybody! We hope this finds you well and preparingfor a joyful holiday season. We're looking forward to being home with our famillies during the holidays for the first time in many years. In fact, this will be our first Thanksgiving at home in more than 10 years!
What We've Been Up To... Most of you are aware that we are in Louisiana right now as we transition from our work in Brussels to begin a new work in Paris. Over the last few months we've been visiting supporters, speaking at churches and working to raise a cash budget to help with the transition. Jeff also made a trip to Europe to re-engage in ministry there for six weeks. He's back in Louisiana for a short break and then returns to wrap up ministry in Brussels before coming home for Christmas.
What's In This Issue: * Announcing New Ministry Communications Materials * European Ministry Update * Bridge Update
We hope you enjoy catching up with us.
You can let us know how you are

We'd lik e to thank Bryan Grisham and the Calvary Baptist Church media department for designing our logo, creating the concept for and production of the media kit. Six Weeks In Europe
While Kathy held the fort
down in Shreveport, I (Jeff) traveled to Europe October 1-November 16. During that time I spent several Sundays in Brussels working with the Christian Center choir on our Christmas outreach program. I also traveled to Austria, The Netherlands and Paris.
Here's a quick recap of all that went on:
Christmas Outreaches in Brussels & Paris We've assembled a collection of songs, dances and video interviews that comprise this year's Christmas concert outreach.
"A Night Of Hope: An International Christmas Celebration" is inspired by our international congregation and brings together artistic cultural expressions and video interviews representing Asia, the former Soviet Republic, Africa, Europe, as well as North and South America.
We will present our Christmas outreach program twice in Brussels on December 6 and once in Paris on December 12. The Paris event is in cooperation with The Bridge. We'll help them throw a children's Christmas party (as a community outreach) followed by our 'Night of Hope' program.
Worship Institute Meeting in The Netherlands Next spring, Calvary Baptist from Shreveport returns to Europe to partner with us in several projects. One of those, will be a Worship Institute in Delft, The Netherlands. I traveled to Delft to meet with a team of organizers to begin planning the event.
Vienna Christian Center Worship Retreat In Austria,I led a worship retreat at Vienna Christian Center for 40 worship leaders and team members. It was exciting to share about worship in the context of international church ministry and to see worship teams representing congregations from China, the Philippines, Austria, Africa, and English-speaking countries. Fellowship of European International Churches 2009 Conference Also in Austria, I led worship at the 2009 Fellowship of European International Conference, the fourth such conference. More than 40 pastors from international churches throughout Europe attended.
Every Nation Conference In Innsbruck, Austria I attended the 'Every Nation' European pastor's conference. Our church in Jackson is an 'Every Nation' church and I attended the conference at the invitation of 'Every Nation' President Steve Murrell, a longtime missionary friend. This was a great opportunity to meet pastors passionate about church planting in Europe. Bridge Core Group
I led worship at a Bridge core group meeting one Sunday morning in Paris. It was great to finally be able to worship with the growing ministry team and meet others who have joined the core group. Looking forward to returning in December for the Christmas outreach and to lead worship at the church on the 14th.

The Bridge Under Construction
So, what's happening at The Bridge in Paris?
Team leader and lead pastor Robby Bradford (pictured below with Jeff) arrived with his wife, Tracy, and three boys in June to begin laying the foundation for this new international church plant.
The Bradfords were preceded by a young Dutch couple, Jeroen and Maaike Kempermen, who moved to Paris a year earlier for business as well as to be part of lay leadership at The Bridge.
Since the Bradford's arrived, they've welcomed four additional missionary families to the ministry team: the Wiggins, the Tysons, the Courtneys and the Whites. Other missionary singles and families are due to arrive over the next few months.
The Bridge meets weekly as a 'core' group on Sunday mornings. In addition to ministry team members, this group is growing by the week. The core group will continue to grow over the next few months as news of the church plant spreads and future church leaders and members join the core in anticipation of the church launch on March 14, 2010.
Jeff returns to Paris near the end of February to attend a team retreat, assist with the church launch, and rehearse with the worship team. In mid-April, Jeff returns to the US to begin the French visa process, wrap-up fundraising, and make final preparations to move to France in June.

Would You Help Us Build The Bridge?
We would love to invite you to partner with us in building The Bridge in Paris. There are a number of ways you can get involved. You can pray for us, partner with us financially, or 'pass it on' for us by sharing the vision with your pastor, church or Sunday School.
Our primary reason for being stateside right now is to raise an additional $2000 in monthly support and a $15,000 cash bu dget to help us make the move to Paris.
❖
If you aren't currently a monthly supporter or regular contributor,
would you prayerfully consider joining financially in this new missions
project?
❖ If you are a member of our support team, would you
consider making a special contribution to help us reach these financial
goals?
❖ Will you help connect us to missions-minded individuals, churches and Sunday school classes?
❖
Will you or your church consider hosting a fundraising event such as a
pancake breakfast or barbeque to help us raise our cash budget?
If you feel led to join us in this exciting ministry project - at any level - would you
let us know by e-mailing us at: Jeff@thebridgeParis.com?
It would be a
great source of encouragement to us.
Any USA contributions can be sent to the Cornerstone International address below while European transfers can be made to the Christian Center bank account number below.
Thanks for considering to help us build The Bridge in Paris.
